Kappa Delta

Our Recruitment

Dear Potential Members,

Thank you for showing interest in our chapter! We are so excited for formal recruitment at the end of this summer! Formal recruitment is a way for any female on campus interested in Greek life to meet all three Panhellenic houses. The first day of recruitment is philanthropy day where we will be making pinwheels for Prevent Child Abuse America, one of our two national philanthropies. The second day of recruitment is house tour day where you will get a personal tour by one of our members of our humble abode. The third day is preference day, if invited back, you will go through our preference ceremony and see more of our sisterhood. Girls invited back will talk individually with a Kappa Delta about whether or not they feel they will fit in with our sisterhood. After that, girls will put their preference and bid day will be on that following Monday. Girls will receive their bids and choose whether they accept or not. Then for my favorite part! Girls who accept their bids run back to their new respective houses and we get to meet our new members!

Kappa Delta is an amazing sisterhood that endeavors to be the best we can be. We strive to help other collegiate women and children through Girl Scouts do the same as part of our confidence coalition. In my time as a Kappa Delta, I have loved watching my sisters and myself grow from leadership opportunities provided by our chapter, academically through school, and from our ever-growing sisterhood. Going through this wonderful experience helps me understand I am a Kappa Delta for life!

We are always striving for excellence in everything we do. Our open motto, “Let us strive for that which is honorable, beautiful, and highest,” holds true for every Kappa Delta. Please feel free to contact me, at hllrx4@mst.edu, or any Kappa Delta if you have any questions. We can’t wait to show you what Kappa Delta is all about!
